Paul Caruso

"I first saw Jimi at the Cafe Wha? in the Village and thought, 'My God, isn't this an opportunity!' He was playing with the Blue Flames and had Randy California in the band with him. It was the most powerful blues playing I had ever heard." Paul Caruso
Jimi's harmonica-playing friend from the Greenwich Village days. Paul Caruso was immortalized in the science fiction sound-painting, EXP, on the Electric Ladyland album. He played harmonica on My Friend, a track on the first posthumous Hendrix album, Cry Of Love.
