Another First at IUPUI: The Establishment of a New Professional Society

In February, 2011, undergraduate and graduate students in music technology in the Department of Music and Arts Technology established the Alpha chapter of Mu Tau Psi.

Mu Tau Psi is a professional, coeducational society for the promotion of music technology and support in this field for its members. It is intended not only to provide professional and social activities for its on campus membership but to include undergraduate, graduate (on campus and online), and alumni music technologists associated with the Department of Music and Arts Technology. This is a charter Chapter, with the intention of developing national and international chapters with focus on music technology. Currently, there are over 30 members in the chapter.
