Ben Shine is a marketing, communications, fundraising, and community engagement strategist committed to connecting people, ideas, and community for the common good. With two decades of experience in arts education, nonprofit leadership, corporate philanthropy, public relations, event creation/management, and brand strategy, he has helped great causes grow their audiences, revenue, visibility, and impact.

A longtime contributor to Indianapolis’ arts and civic life, Shine has served in volunteer leadership roles with Heartland Film, Tonic Ball, Indy Film Fest, the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance, American Lung Association, Arts Council of Indianapolis, Spirit & Place, WFYI, and Sky Blue Window. His work is driven by a deep love for Indianapolis and the firm belief that this city can, in fact, have nice things, especially when good people and good ideas find each other.
